Surnames Utagawa and Sasaki; possibly studied with Utagawa Kunisada in Edo(?); should not be confused with another contemporaneous artist signing Kunikazu but with a different second character (active circa 1856-1858; also a pupil of Toyokuni III).
Osaka print designer who designed some of the better okubi-e portraits leading into the final period of kamigata-e.
