Perhaps a pupil of Kunihiro (?); R. Keyes (see TWOP in References) suggests the possibility that this may be the same artist as Shigeharu reverting to his earlier name Kunishige (used in 1821-25), but the evidence is only circumstantial and uncertain; otherwise, nothing else is known about Kunishige's biography.
