Shunsho ga ("Drawn by Shunsho, a pupil of Shunkôsai" [= Hokushû]); R. Keyes in TWOP
(see Bibliography) equates Shunsho with Hokuchô, presumably because Hokuchô used the name
Shunshosai with the same two characters for writing Shunsho (he also signed as a pupil of Shunkô [Hokushû]); otherwise,
nothing else is known of his biography.
