Who Are We?

Peter Ujlaki
A Japan-based ukiyo-e dealer and collector who has written for Andon and regularly published articles on Japanese prints in the quarterly magazine Daruma (see selected articles reprinted on this website). His main field of interest is Osaka prints.
John Fiorillo
An independent writer on traditional and modern Japanese prints with a special interests in nineteenth-century Osaka printmaking and sôsaku hanga. He has published in the journals Andon and Impressions, contributed to the Hotei Encyclopedia of Japanese Woodblock Prints (2005), and designed and written the content for the website Viewing Japanese Prints. Since 2016 he has served on the editorial board of Andon, a journal on Japanese art published twice annually by the Society for Japanese Arts, Leiden.
